We met as two foreign students studying in a small European country known for its windmills, bikes, and tulips. It was a chance meeting on an app in 2019, during our early twenties—without it, our paths would never have crossed. Our first date was over a beer at Beestenmarkt Square, just a two-minute walk from where we would later buy our first home together.

Amid the pandemic and after two years of long-distance, we celebrated our civil union at city hall in January 2021. Shortly after, Drake immigrated to the Netherlands, and we began our life together in Delft.

Now, we wish to reaffirm our commitment to each other and celebrate with those who have been there for us over the years—both old friends and new.
